About this Course

Kick up your heels and be transported back to 1923 in Swing Roanoke's Charleston series. Everyone recognizes the classic twist and kick style made popular during the '20s and '30s. Here is your chance to perfect it and show it off at your next holiday bash. We will learn the basic Charleston step, variations large and small, and explore partnered dancing. As always, no partner is required to dance with us, just bring yourself - and your fringe and feathers!
